We’re excited to launch our very own blog for Household Blessings!
We created Household Blessings because we wanted to bring beautiful pieces of art and culture to the family home.
Household Blessings began when my wife and I moved into our very first home and realised just how hard it is to find nice pictures and statues and amazingly the essential piece to every family home – the humble crucifix.
So me being handy with the tools and my wife being the resourceful one, we set out to make by hand exactly what we sought for our home.
Religious pieces of art particularly should be appreciated for their beauty and emotional power that they can have over each of us and yet in this day and age where items can be mass produced in the millions we have forfeited the true beauty of handmade art.
We want to be able to update you guys on the exciting things we are currently working on and any of our beautifully completed projects. We also want to blog about pretty much anything else we find interesting and of course those things which hopefully you do as well.
